CF) Integrity?

CF) has recently allowed XPLICT to join their clan under the alias of CF)Tru.Judger (my old aka was Tru.Judger[BG], Tru.Judger.CF, and obviously Judger.CF). When I saw XPLICT in op sess claiming to be Judger.CF, I obviously was interested in this annoyance. At first I thought it was a joke, one of our older .CF members playing a prank perhaps.

Obviously, we are cwing CF) for the battle of CF on east very soon. We have been waiting days, months, years to play CF), ever since we first found out about them. They are, for obvious reasons, on our territory. We have been established as a clan on US East exclusively since 12/11/2004. For all that time, Snake/Phoxx always told us "we will cw soon", and gave reasons such as not being ready. Well now they are gearing up for this war that they have been working on for all this time, and using such players as smurfs who are only interested in cwing our clan.

As far as I know, 99% of respectable clan leaders wouldn't allow this to happen. It ruins the meaning of the game, of the clan war. If he's not even wanting to be apart of this clan, why should we be playing him? I would be making the same case if this kid was terrible, and if it stands, because it's not going to make a difference in the outcome. I know myself, CroN and Graves would all ban said member for such behavior.

But does CF) have that kind of integrity? Only time will tell.

Well here is my view point on CF) and this comment isn't even bm. I
honestly don't see the logic behind this clans actions. I'll just
explain from the beginning. .CF has been around since 04.... 04! thats
6 years! This isn't even saying as individuals when we started to play
the game. This was just the creation of Cold.Fire. .CF wasn't even
founded on a couple guys saying "hey wanna make a clan?" "yeah that
sounds like fun" *clan made* .CF was founded though [BG] the ORIGINAL
BattleGods (yes Bbg copied BG). A clan which gained notice from around
99-05. Thats over 6 years of existence. The reason BG even died was
because most of its active members helped form the creation of .CF so
in a way .CF is BG. The reason it changed was political issues. We
didn't do gay shit like what happened with Raging and had 2 raging
clans. op Raging- and op Raging. for 2 different raging clans. We
created a completely new tag. Another example is BbG. They use the same
exact name except they add Brutal in front but lets look at that clans
creation. Certain members tried to join BG.. they failed.. so to solve
this they joined a completely different server and they STILL didnt
make the same name. The put Bbg.. which in my opinion is still pretty
stupid but at least it was divided between 2 server. BG on east and BBG
on west. They still had the respect to not make it BG on east BG on
west.

Now lets look at CF). We as .CF has been around and made a mark on east
for a very long time. Before SCD we were hosting daily tourney in our
channel for the entire community to play in. All of cristal knew the
channel and would enter. .CF would win a good amount of them too
proving our strength. Now here comes along CF) and when they first made
this clan we found out fairly quickly (a proof of our activity) and we
even told them "why make the same tag as us? just change it to
something else.." yes there is 1 difference between the . and the ) but
im sure both clans have come across "are you .CF?" "are you CF)"
because random people have trouble noticing the difference. Yet CF)
insists on having the same tag. Do they expect us to change tags??

This isn't even the end of the issue. Try to understand this logic. CF)
"feels" they are the better clan yet how many reps do they have beating
us in comparison to us beating them? Also whenever we asked for a CW
(we wanted to have a clanwar where the loser removes the tag) they
backed out. They always say things like ".CF sucks" "we will beat you"
etc etc etc yet when it comes to a clanwar the comment is "we need to
prepare" for any other clan prepare means something like practicing
with all the members..getting the rust off.. pretty much just getting
ready for games. but not with CF) prepare means practicing for months
to IMPROVE skill (not unrust) AND recruit more members who are "good".
Is this really preparing for a war? or is this the standard "preparing"
EVERY clan does at all times clanwar or not. recruiting..playing
games..practicing etc. This is not preparing.. this is dodging until
CF) hopefully gets stronger. It's like me saying "cw? nah lets hold it
off because i want to practice until i reach first place in vgt 1v1
ladder and our clan members all make top 10." Doing this doesnt even
show current skill. Most of all it proves CF) is ALL talk when saying
how great they are. Don't get me wrong.. I'm sure they are good people
once you get to know them.. but I don't see how they can have pride and
self respect when wearing a tag of a clan which has been around way
longer and which is currently still around and is originally more
noticed. The also use the excuses of "we're waiting for sc2" which is
something people have been saying for years and I understand sc2 is
closer then ever right now but sc2 will be low money. At least make
yourself CF) the low money clan or something.

I wish it ends here but there is yet more.. CF) used to mean Chronic
Fatigue. I don't understand that name.. is that suppose to be the
common excuses for the clan skill level? "wow how did you guys lose?..
oh nvm i forgot your CF) the Chronic Fatigues" I guess they eventually
realized this so you know what they did? THEY CHANGED THE NAME!!....but
not that tag?? now its Chronic Facture. What the hug is that? "we are
the Chronic Art of Construction" I don't even know what that suppose to
mean. Maybe it's a bunch of people with Chronic Fatigue trying to
construct something.. I don't know.. my point in all this though is why
not just change the tag too? It's like they do this on purpose lol.

Lastly on top of all this is the annoyance. Not only do they go around
talking shit but they seek this kind of attention. This is one of the
worst things any clan can do. You have members going around SEEKING to
bm. A good example is the screenshot above. I blame the clan leaders
for something like this. They sell themselves like prostitutes in hopes
of getting better yet in the meantime.. among the starcraft community
which is rather quite small. They continually grow a larger and larger
negative reputation. My guess would be the only reason people might
even respect CF) at first is because they get confused with .CF I even
feel bad for CF) in a way because they are doing anything they can to
get better and they try valuing their members and defending them
meanwhile you have people like XPLICT who joins solely to cw against
.CF because he has a grudge against us. At this rate CF) isn't
improving and they will continue to not improve. In fact they might
even reach the negatives and could be better off making a new clan
anyway. maybe they feel they have pretty records.. I have CroNuS.CF at
2k games and with a ladder ranking and that account got deleted so I
made CroN.CF at 0-0 I really don't see why they dont change the name.
Yeah I guess they might get more points by progressing the clan in this
way but like I also said they sell more self respect/honor for every
point gained/lost and members recruited.

Oh and 1 more thing is they also copy our members names. Like CF)Judger
or CF)Tru.Judger. This is so fucked up yet the clan leaders let it
slide. Its like me getting on VGT as Spartan[nK) and making a thread
called [nK) and asking people to join. The whole community will think 2
things. 1. this has to be a hugging joke. 2. This guy/clan is so stupid
and sad. Spartan would probably ban them. Now we have CF) members
impersonating and spreading false information around the community on a
CF leader/VGT Admin.

This wasn't even completely my perspective of the situation but is more
so all the actual things which have happened between the 2 clans. Im
sure if this rivalry was made in a more public lighting then CF) would
be scarred for life in the starcraft community. I guess its good for
them that they still live in the shadows and the most spot light they
will ever view is the light within .CFs shadow.
