So, we have decided upon having a new recruiting process. We set out to get rid of the guys we recruit who end up leaving the next day, and also to get an accurate gauge on a potential member before we allow him in.
The following is the process adopted by the Inner Council, with a vote of 4-1, voted on 1/19/2009, and put into effect 1/21/2009.
RecruitmentFor a recruit to be allowed into the clan, a current member needs to put them up for vote. To do this, they need to talk to Judger, Graves, or Cron.
From this point, the following must be presented:
- Recruits current name
- Recruits aka's (must be proven to be his/hers)
- At least one replay of each race of the recruit (minimum 3 total)<li>Reason why they want into CF
After all of these have been presented, the Inner Council can accept/deny the request to put the player up for vote. They will almost always allow the vote to go, but if it's someone that is really not wanted in CF, we'll deny it on the spot. We just reserve this right, not really with the intention to use it.
Thus the 5 day voting period begins (the recruit is not allowed to tag up). We want them to game with the clan for the next 5 days, and if they want yes votes, then it's wise for them to make friends.
Once you as a member reach a decision on allowing that member into CF, you must PM Judger on the website their vote. In the pm, we want your yes/no decision, and your reasoning for that decision.
Majority rules. If they get 11 yes votes and 10 no votes, he's allowed into CF. Voting will be confidential. If there is a tie, the Inner Council's vote will determine his access into the clan. At midnight of the 5th day, voting will close. All votes after that time will be disregarded.
